The Arthur Paulin Automotive Aftermarket Scholarship Award

applicants must be enrolled in an automotive aftermarket industry related program or curriculum at a Canadian college or university.

This includes students pursuing their studies as an automotive apprentice.

$700

T D Canada Trust Scholarship

Students must have a minimum average of 75%, and have demonstrated outstanding community leadership.

Each scholarship is valued up to $60,000 and includes: up to $10,000 for tuition per year, $5,000 a year toward living expenses,

and an offer of summer employment during the years of scholarship.

Wendy's Classic Achiever Scholarships

To qualify, a student must have an average of at least 70%, be involved in at least one extra-curricular activity, and be involved in the community. The student does not need to be employed by Wendy's.

Princess Royal Pan Am Scholarship

The Princess Royal Pan Am Scholarship is awarded to one male and one female high performance athlete enrolled in a post secondary institution in Manitoba.

Seymour Schulich Scholarship

Thinking about a career in engineering? The University of Calgary's Schulich School of Engineering is one of the finest engineering faculties in the country - with the best scholarship program, by far. It's not all about your grade point average. Some Schulich awards are granted on the basis of academic merit. Others are granted for entrepreneurship, community service and/or contribution to school life.

Value: $10,000 and $20,000 (renewable in years 2 & 3). 5 awards of $20,000 each are offered to students whose permanent home address and high school from which they will graduate are at least 100 kilometres from Calgary city centre.

Top 20 Under 20 Award

For young persons under the age of 20 (as of December 31), who have demonstrated significant amounts of Innovation, Leadership and Achievements in their life, school, community, province or country.

Toyota Earth Day School Program

This award is presented to students who have achieved excellence in academic and extracurricular activities, and have demonstrated and exceptional commitment to the environment.

The Canadian Hard of Hearing Association Scholarship Program 2006

The Gerrie Hammond Memorial Award of Promise

Presented annually to one young woman, a grade 12 student, who has made significant contributions to her school, to the well-being of her community and as a role model for other young women.

Talk About Canada Scholarship 

Graduation high school students and students attending post-secondary institutions across Canada can navigate their way to winning one of 61 scholarships, ranging from $500 to $5,000, by answering online questions about Canada's national identity!

Appicant must be involved in humanitarian work.

For students who have an average of 67% or higher, Work part-time an average of 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year, demonstrates participation in the community and has financial need. You do not need to work at Burger King to qualify for an award.

Manitoba Youth Leadership Scholarship Program 

The Youth Leadership Scholarship Program recognizes Grade 12 students who have engaged in meaningful leadership and citizenship volunteer activities during the past year that were targeted at promoting healthy living in their communities and schools.

Re/Max "Quest for Excellence" Scholarship

Any student can apply - required to write an essay.

Manitoba Hockey Players Foundation Scholarship Criteria: Individual's academic achievement, hockey participation, personal athletic achievements, citizenship, and other school activities.

Friar Nicolson Hockey ScholarshipTHe Manitoba Hockey Players Foundation, will be awarding 2 $1,000.00 scholarships to an outstanding male and female high school hockey player.

Bain/Stevenson Hockey ScholarshipWinnipeg Physiotherapist, D'Arcy Bain will be presenting a $500.00 scholarship named in honour of long time Winnipeg hockey coach, Fred Stevenson.

Manitoba Foundation for Sport Scholarships

The program's emphasis is placed on athletes who have competed at the provincial level or higher and who have maintained a high level of academic standing, while showing a commitment to amateur sport through their involvement in coaching, officiating and volunteer activities.

2008 Canadian Retail Industry Scholarship Program

For students entering or currently in a retail or business-related program at college or university who are working at least part-time in retail.

Manitoba Foundation for Sports Scholarship Scholarshp program administered by Sport Manitoba established to support young athletes of Sport Manitoba partners, who continue to participate in amateur sport while pursuing a post secondary education on a full time basis.  Preference will be given to athletes attending university or college in Manitoba and enrolled in a related field, pursing a career in sport.

Business Council of Manitoba Aboriginal Education Awards 2007 - Fly Higher

If you are of Aboriginal ancestry, planning to attend a post-secondary institution in Manitoba you may be eligible for this award.

$3,000 for university and $1,500 for college students

MHSAA Ed Belfour Hockey Award 

Presented to one male and one female graduating high school hockey player to be used towards post secondary education in Manitoba.

MHSAA - Manitoba Moose/True North High School Hockey Sportsmanship Awards Criteria: used toward post-secondary, min. 65% average, letters of reference, summary of statistics, summary of extra-curricular activities.

MHSAA Todd Davison Memorial Scholarship 

Criteria: Any high school athlete who has risen abover personal challenges in their life, hard working, strong leadership and team play, respected by teammates and coaches, proceeding to post-secondary education.

Pembina Valley Minor Hockey Association

To qualify for these scholarships the graduating students must have participated in hockey as a player, official or coach.  The recipient of these scholarship awards must have participated in the sport of hockey and will be continuing with post-secondary school studies.  Criteria:  Includes academic standing, leadership and sportsmanship qualities.  Applicants must submit a one-page essay expressing their opinion on the question, "What positive effect have you had in your community by playing, officating or coachin the game of hockey."

Applicants must also include a letter of recommendation from the local Minor Hockey Association or their High School Hockey Coach/Manager.

Scholarship award application on the scholarship bulletin board and also available from Mrs. Pritchard at the Guidance Office.

The Alexander Josephson Memorial Hockey Scholarship MHSAA Canadian School Sport Federation/ Canada Basketball Scholarship

Applicants are scored on their character, academic success, leadership and achievement in basketball, as well as on the basis of other school and community activities.  Selection will be made on the individuals who best exemplify the ideals of the student-athlete, and who are continuing their education in Canada.

MTS Scholarships

Various Scholarships. Pursue Your Calling scholarships are awarded based on your academic achievement (75% or over), and your responses to the short answer questions provided. Short listed candidates are required to participate in an interview with the MTS scholarship selection committee before final decisions are made.

$1,000 towards tuition for up to 4 years, summer employment, discounts.

RBC Royal Bank Financial Lifeskills Scholarship

To be eligible, students require a minimum average of 65 per cent and acceptance into a Canadian college or university for full-time study in any program.

10 awards of $2,007 each.

Community Futures Heartland

Offering a Business Scholarship 2008, for the 2007 - 2008 school year.  Grade 12 students pursuing a post secondary diploma program in the province of Manitoba with ultimately a career in business.   On the website the scholarship information is available under training opportunities.

bursary will be awarded to each of six Grade XII students, on the basis of high academic standing and financial need. Carman Legion Ladies' Auxiliary No. 18

Criteria:  Grade 12 Graduate, Son/Daughter/ Grandchild of a veteran, Carman Legion Branch or Auxiliary member, leaving high school this year to further their education.  The Bursary must be used within one year from the date it is awarded.  Application forms are available at Carman Collegiate.

Manitoba Nurses' Union Local 89 of Carman

Manitoba Trucking Association Scholastic Awards

Scholarships for the dependants of employees of member companies. To be used for first year tuition assistance. These awards are open to dependant children of employees of MTA member companies. Application forms are available from the MTA office.

The Monsanto Canada Opportunity Scholarship Program is for Canadian high school students from family farms who have successfully enrolled at a Canadian educational institution (degree or diploma) in a first-year agricultural sciences or forestry program.

Training for Tomorrow Educational Awards Program for women

Open to Canadian women entering the first of an eligible 2-year diploma program of study at any of Manitoba's four eligible community colleges.

Canadian Blood Services - Assignment: Saving Lives Bursaries

Must be a grade 12 or college/university student, and must successfully recruit a minimum of 25 blood donors. Special consideration will be given to the student who recruits the most donors and the most new donors.

Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario Command - The Royal Canadian Legion Scholarships 2008

To qualify for a scholarship a student must have permanent residence in Manitoba and (a) be an ex-service member, who is a member of the Royal Canadian Legion (b) be a son, daughter or grandchild of an ex-service member who is a member of The Royal Canadian Legion or who was a member of The Royal Canadian Legion at the time of his or her death.

Manitoba Forage Seed Association (MFSA) & Forage Seed Trad Scholarship Award    

Must be a member of, or have a parent who is a member of MFSA, be enrolled or planning to enroll in a degree or diploma program in the Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences at the University of Manitoba, and have a GPA of at least 65%.  The scholarship is offered to qualified Manitoba High School or University studetns who are enrolled or applying to enroll in the degree or diploma program in the Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at the Univerity of Manitoba.
